Photography started for me as a hobby. I honostly think it gave me something to do while spending countless hours at my sons' sporting events. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't have missed them for the world, buy my back side and bleachers just do not get along.
After updating my equipment and getting comfortable with my results, I started providing pictures to the local paper for some of the local sporting events. Might as well take pictures of all the kids if I was there anyway.
After my sons' graduated and moved on, my photography started to expand. I started with a small studio in my home that worked fine for individuals. I outgrew my basement in a hurry. I took the leap and opened my own studio. I enjoyed that for about 1 1/2 years and started realizing the type of photography I really enjoyed. I started doing a lot of senior pictures and event photography. Even my family pictures and baby pictures started being more on site. I also branched out and started handling some weddings.
I enjoy making the pictures about you, not you trying to get comfortable in my atmosphere.
